By law, every train car must have an ADA compliant restroom on the lower level of the car. When it came time to redesign this room, I was tasked with designing a fiberglass module with a more ergonomic layout, improved maintenance, and a modern appearance which reflected the updated colors and materials throughout the rest of the train.
